How long does a session last?
Your initial sessions typically last for 60 minutes, after you've determined what kind of benefit the Device provides you can then adjust your session times to better fit your schedule.
How long does a patient have to be involved with these sessions?
This really depends upon your health condition and symptoms you're trying to improve. Some conditions are chronic (sometimes they've been with you for many years) and therefore may take several weeks to determine if the sessions may help, some are not and patients may feel better very quickly. Like most natural methods of improving your health (e.g. eating healthier meals, or beginning a new workout regimen), the technology requires a level of commitment on your part to determine how much we can help you. Ultimately, you'll be the best judge of how long and how often.
Are relaxation sessions covered by Medicare or Insurance?
No, the technology and services are forms of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) and are therefore cash pay services that are not reimbursed. Magneceutical™ relaxation session costs, may however, qualify to be paid from your healthcare flexible spending account. Please check with your Healthcare provider and Tax preparer, for costs, tax, and payment information.
How do I know this works?
In general Energy based therapies (i.e. the application of electrical, electromagnetic fields, sound, heat, laser, or light to the human body) is a fast growing field in healthcare, generating billions in revenue over the last few years. What is the Theory of Operation (or Mechanism)?
Based upon studies at the University of Oklahoma's Heart Rhythm Institute involving our technology. Our low-level electromagnetic field appears to be stimulating the Vagus Nerve (which runs throughout the body), and bring about a change in the balance of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). The balancing act between the Sympathetic branch ("fight or flight") and the Parasympathetic branch ("rest and digest") of the ANS is measured by Heart Rate Variability (HRV) a biomarker for the ANS. An imbalance in the ANS can make the symptoms of disease or chronic conditions worse. HRV as monitored from an individual's heartbeat, is a real-time indicator of both cardiovascular health and general well-being.
Does the technology treat diseases like Arthritis, Parkinson's Disease, Fibromyalgia, etc?
No, the sessions enhance feelings of relaxation, and this allows us to address "chronic stress" which is thought to play a key role in many different disease states or conditions. Do you have different magnetic field strengths for different health conditions?

Yes, the same electromagnetic field (emf) is provided because the same shape / size of the coil is used, and your Healthcare provider assigned you the same treatment protocol(s) that he used to help you feel better.

Do I get a computer and chair with my HALO™ unit ?
No, the HALO™ is sold without a computer and chair, as most people already have both that can be used with our system. If you don't have either we can direct you to companies and products that work well with our system.
Do I need a specific type of Computer ?
The customer will need to provide their own computer and laptop and must meet the following requirements:

You can purchase one directly from Human Touch. We highly recommend this chair,currently we suggest the PC-410 as it has no electric parts.
Will the HALO™ work from my Smartphone or Tablet ?
Not Yet, our current version requires a computer (laptop or desktop) connection to your Home's Internet service.
I don't have Internet access at my home,will the HALO™ still work ?
No, you'll need to have Internet service available in your Home and access it through either a wired or wireless connection.
Can I treat myself every day ?
Yes, as part of the flat monthly fee, you can access the system for up to 90 minutes per day..every day.
Can I treat other people in my HALO™ ?
No, your unit and treatment protocols have been determined by your Healthcare provider to provide benefits to you. Other people should see one of our Healthcare providers and determine whether or not our technology helps them with their issues. (See Referral question above)
What if my spouse wants to try the HALO™, do we have to buy two ?
No, we have developed a "family plan" that allows for more than one user per HALO™ system. But your Spouse should still set an appointment with your HealthCare Provider to determine whether or not a treatment protocol exists that provides them a benefit. Once that's been determined, your Healthcare provider can setup your Spouse with the appropriate treatment protocol, and you can share the HALO™ system you already have in your home.
Is it easy to setup ?
Yes, it should take you less than 20 minutes to get the HALO™ system up and another 5 minutes to get your Computer connected. We have instructional videos, written instructions, and help desk ready to get you up and running !
